Spur Local Community Changemakers Event 11.03.24

This week, SJP staff participated in Spur Local's annual showcase of their 2024 class of nonprofit partners. Given the thousands of nonprofits operating in the DC area, Spur Local curates a catalog to make it easier to connect with local nonprofits based on issue area and population serviced. SJP is pleased to be featured in the catalog again this year, and for the opportunity to share our work with donors and fellow nonprofit partners. Highlights of the evening included sharing client stories and systemic priorities, as well as petting chickens brought by a neighboring organization.
