SJP Welcomes New Managing Attorney Aubrey Dillon 04.24.24

SJP is thrilled to share that Aubrey Dillon joined our team as Managing Attorney at the end of April!

Aubrey joined School Justice Project after over twelve years as a public defender. He most recently supervised trial attorneys at the Public Defender Service (PDS) for the District of Columbia. Prior to moving to the District, he represented indigent clients at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender and is a proud alum of Queens Defenders, formerly known as Queens Law Associates.

Aubrey is an experienced trial attorney who has handled dozens of jury trials, hundreds of bench trials, and has represented thousands of individual clients. He also has significant experience developing and conducting trainings. As Managing Attorney, Aubrey will lead SJP's Direct Representation program and supervise our team of case-carrying attorneys. SJP welcomes Aubrey’s vast expertise and strong managerial skills to better our team and enhance our advocacy on behalf of clients. We are excited to learn from Aubrey’s experience and to continue growing under his leadership!
