SJP welcomes our fall law clerk, Siena Roberts! 09.18.24
Siena is a 3L at Washington College of Law. In 2020, Siena received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Public Health from American University. At WCL, Siena is one of the Senior Article Editors for the Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law, the Editor-in-Chief of the Criminal Law Practitioner, the Director of Student Life for the Student Bar Association, and a Research Assistant. During law school, Siena worked at the Public Defender Service (PDS) in DC, where she drafted motions and met with clients, at the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission in Arlington, where she focused on motions related to constitutional violations, at the Second Look Project in DC, where she helped to draft Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act (IRAA) motions, and at a small criminal defense firm focusing on post-conviction litigation in Maryland. In the spring, Siena will be a student attorney with the Decarceration Clinic at WCL. Prior to law school, Siena worked as a paralegal.
