During this one-hour virtual panel, hear from SJP, Nixon Peabody, and the Washington Lawyers' Committee about recent class action litigation filed on behalf of DC students with disabilities being denied their federally protected special education rights as they serve time in federal prisons. The litigation team will discuss the history on why they filed the litigation, the current procedural posture and what they hope to achieve through this effort.
